Biography: Chris Evans

Chris Evans

Chris Evans was born in Framingham Massachusetts to a dentist and dancer, where he lived until he was 11 years old with his brother and two sisters. The family moved to Sudbury when Chris was 11,where he attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. It was here that he became interested in drama, performing in school plays and regional theater until he moved to New York to pursue his career.

Chris started out with an internship at a casting office where he befriended and later became a client of an agent.

Chris got his first small screen break guest starring on the 2000 remake of The Fugitive, followed by his first break on the big screen in Another Teen Movie in 2001, however it was 2005 before he got his real break playing Johnny Storm/Human Torch in Fantastic Four and it’s sequel Rise of the Silver Surfer, he soon followed this up with another superhero gig playing Captain America in both the posthumous film and the forthcoming The Avengers.
